Jamie K. Beck, LMHC, BCPC, ATR, has worked in the field of behavioral health for nearly three decades. An integrative psychotherapist with roots in the visual arts, she brings a thoughtful, relational approach that emphasizes safety, presence, curiosity, and the creative process as pathways to healing and growth.
At jkbecktherapy/studio, Jamie offers small meditation classes and creative arts therapy groups for the community. These contemplative practices are secular, grounded in insight meditation and compassion teachings, and open to both new and experienced meditators. Creative arts therapy groups are tailored to specific populations—whether preteen or adult—offering a supportive space to create and connect around shared experiences.
In her private practice, Jamie works exclusively with adult women navigating complex medical conditions, reproductive journeys and loss, parenting and family transitions, lives shaped by adoption and neurodiversity, caretaker fatigue and isolation, grief in its many forms, professional uncertainty, and the shifting identities of midlife.
Jamie is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and holds a master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. Her advanced training includes Collaborative Problem Solving, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Compassion-Based Resilience Training, and Somatic Trauma Therapy.
